Boost VC is fun. I was once asked by an LP during the final meeting to get a commitment, “why would startups accept your money instead of other investors money”, and I thought for a second and responded: “We are extremely likable.” The room broke out into laughter, and I did close the investment. To this day they are my longest running institutional partner.
