In high school I made a claymation movie, as a part of the claymation club, that had Gumby and papa Smurf in a brawl. It was awesome.
After high school, I played competitive tennis for 8 months in Australia. Some nights, I would flip on my computer and try to figure out how to use Flash software in order to animate a spider falling.
The tools to create stories for animated characters were not simple, and they were expensive with time and money to produce something well.
In the mean time, Pixar became the standard of quality for 3D animated content with amazing movies like Toy Story.
Over the last decade there have been huge advancements in this process flow and software, so much so that I can now host my animated Bored Ape on Cameo! Check it out here.
I understand what a technical achievement this is. Itβs so fun to imagine what stories and what new characters will be created for such a format.
