I have been hinting at a few changes to this Demo Day, and today I get to announce that Boost VC is pre-committing to invest $1,000,000 of new capital at the Deep Tech Demo Day!
Four companies presenting at this event will receive a brand new investment from Boost VC.
A year ago the structure of the Demo Days changed to include partner funds like Cantos, Anorak, Draper Associates and more. Partner funds nominate startups to be listed on the Demo Day platform, the startups present, and other investors schedule time to connect to potentially invest.
Now we are going to include a commitment of capital into the arena! There are so many incredible founders and teams that present on the Deep Tech Demo Day, we believe that this could be the best use of our investment capital and want to put it to work, and prove it.
