Coming off a big announcement of our $87,654,321 fundraise - Today is Deep Tech Demo Day. An amazing day used to giving a platform to those building the “Sci-Fi Future” and connecting them to people who want to invest in that future.
Today we have 40 startups nominated by 17 different funds.
The amazing thing about our Demo Day is that it’s a moment where the whole community of Deep Tech (Investors and Founders) get to help define what the future will look like, and translate that through the concept of Deep Technologies. Some common themes across the startups in different industries:
Proof of Human — We seem far enough into AI, where people are concerned about security. For both enterprise and consumer.
Now there are Robots being built, but how do you actually integrate the robots into the human flow, in the industrial setting.
The common themes in Aerospace/Defense are Data, movement and bio in space.
Claws that move things, Carriers that drop things, and biological experimentation
Additionally there’s a larger theme around autonomous vehicle mobility, and having the vehicles work in swarms.
ie: Vehicles running errands for you
Bio — Surgeries are dangerous and diseases kill us — Great people are solving those problems!
