“When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure.” - Goodhart's Law I love sports. I’m fairly athletic, I can play any sport that has a ball and a stick except cricket. However, I’ve always resisted the idea of watching seasons of sports. To me it always felt like a major time suck. Even when I was playing tennis competitively, it was hard for me to rationalize the idea of spending hours watching matches (Which is probably why I’m not a professional tennis player now).
I'm the opposite when it comes to sports. If there's a ball and or sticks, Ill probably stay far away it as I'm a small human that don't like losing. On the other hands, I've lost 95% of races I enter, soooooo that doesn't make sense.
You up for some pickle ball at foster city? I know a guy who knows a guy.
